Grade Policies
GPA- Students need to maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher. If students receive a GPA below 3.0, students will be put on academic probation.
Grades- If a grade of ‘C-’ or less is assigned, students will have to repeat the course in order to complete their program. There is no grade forgiveness for graduate students and the repeated and original course grade will be included in the calculation of the CPP, overall, and contract GPA.
Grade Appeal- students may appeal grades that they consider to be unfair. However, it is a basic presumption that the grades assigned to a student are correct. The burden of proof rests with the students who is appealing. Grade appeals are conducted by the Grade Appeal Committee and not by the department.
