The spread and containment of COVID-19 has shown significantly difference among countries during the last six months. General public’s responses to handwashing, wearing masks, social distancing, home-schooling etc. have been quite different. While there are many contributing factors to such differences, the culture difference is one of the factors. So, this research project tries to explore the difference between individualist cultures and collectivist cultures on their response and development of COVID 19 pandemic. Given multiple public large data sources, this project will investigate the culture impact on COVID-19 responses. The goal is to provide guidelines to public health policy makers for future similar incidents.
